I set out to make a universally design water faucet that had an aesthetic expression that deviated from traditional water faucet design.

The most challenging part was to find a fitting workflow for the handle to be reachable, easy to maneuver, and have a high tolerance for errors.

Accessibility

The main challenge was to optimize for range.

I found that people in wheelchairs, and sort people, sometimes have trouble reaching the handle on the faucet.

Part of the solution to this problem was to make a remote control. The control can be mounted to the tabletop with screws or by a magnet, making it easily accessible for wheelchair users or others with short reach.
